SDSM&T gets a little "RESPEC"

Learn...earn...and return….that's the philosophy one KOTA Territory business takes with their charitable donations.

Today, Rapid City consulting firm RESPEC announced the beginning of a grant program with the South Dakota School of Mines.

The $250,000 grant over 5 years will assist in furthering undergraduate research in a variety of engineering & science disciplines.

President & CEO Todd Kenner says the company's deep roots with the school & its importance to the community made the partnership very easy, "We are excited about the opportunity, we're excited about continuing the relationship with the School of Mines & we're excited about strengthening our partnership there and building a great future for students & employment in professional careers in engineering and science going forward".

The South Dakota based company, started by 5 South Dakota Tech professors has offices throughout the United States & currently employs 33 alumni of the School of Mines.
