A KOTA Territory mayor welcomes in his newest colleagues and starts his third term Monday night.
Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey was officially sworn in before Monday's City Council meeting, along with three council members.
After thanking the outgoing members, Kinskey told the revamped council that the group must work on continuing the trend of the city's improving unemployment rate.
"We have to redouble our efforts at economic development. To me, that means making sure the city's budget stays in shape, that we rebuild our infrastructure, and that we advance the economic development efforts already underway," said Kinskey.
Kinskey points out that some development projects have already attracted light and high-tech manufacturing companies to Sheridan.
The council's new members include Levi Dominguez and Shelleen Smith. They replace Ryan Mullholland and Steve Brantz. Kristen Kelly was the only returning member who needed to be sworn in.
