Last year he was convicted of possessing 10 pounds of marijuana, now prosecutors say he's moved onto a different vice.
Christopher Heft, 22, of Utah is charged with two counts of possessing, manufacturing and distributing child pornography.
He pleaded not guilty in 7th circuit court Thursday morning.
His alleged crimes go back to May of 2012.
Heft faces 20 years in prison on all child pornography charges.
Prosecutors also allege he has a prior conviction for possessing marijuana, and that could increase his sentence to 30 years, if he is found guilty.
Heft will be back in court on January 17th.
