Christmas sales draw shoppers in KOTA Territory

Christmas is over and the New Year is just around the corner so what's that mean for local retailers? After–Christmas sales!

Shoppers hustle and bustle down town Rapid City Wednesday; most of which looking for cut prices.

Karma Boutique Operations Manager Sasha Campbell says they start sales after Christmas to clear out inventory for the New Year. They have items anywhere from 30% to 80% off for the next few days. And shopper Wendy Beaumont says her and her daughters are looking for sales such as these. "We just decided to spend some of our gift cards and they hadn't been downtown so we decided it'd be a fun time to come down town and shop and pick up some good bargains," said Beaumont.

"After Christmas it's all about the mark downs," said Campbell. "People want to see the slashes through the prices and they want a deal and people are coming in with their gift cards too, but mostly to get sale items."

Beaumont says the best deal they've seen so far is 80% off.
