Returning a gift? Check return policy

It's the thought that counts, but there still may be some gifts you choose to return after this holiday season.

Return policies vary from store to store, but at Target you have 30 to 90 days after Christmas to make a return or exchange. If you shopped with a Red Card you have an extra 30 days to return your gift. Receipts do make the process easier, but if you have an ID, credit card number, or check number you can probably at least get store credit for your items.

Target Senior Team Leader Sarah Drysdal says if in doubt just bring your item to the store to see what they can do for you. She also says because Christmas fell mid-week, there hasn't been many returns yet, but she predicts the weekend will be much busier.
