Doomsday Wedding, "It's the end of the world as we know it" - KOTA Territory News

Friday, 12/21/12, was the day predicted to be the end of the world, but local couple decided to tie the knot!
Summer Wendell and Daniel Gallastie were married at Black Hills Receptions just west of Rapid City.
They say there many unique dates they were looking at such as 10/11/12, but decided 12/21/12 was the best.
They say they are pretty sure we'll all survive but none the less the date symbolizes out with the old life, and in with the new.
"I'm excited! We've kind of been telling people it's the end of the world as we know it wedding, and we even put that on the back of our program," say the newly weds.
The couple says they have been waiting nearly two years for this day, waiting for Daniel to come home after his 14 month tour in Afghanistan.
