Fire victims allowed to enter home and retrieve belongings

The former residents of a Rapid City home destroyed by fire last month will be able to get what's left of their belongings out of the house this week.
The fire, which killed three children and their grandmother, was home to more than twenty people.  Since the fire, three weeks ago, the families have not been able to enter the structure or retrieve their belongings. This week, fire officials are giving them the go ahead.

While the people who lived there don't expect all of their things to be salvageable, they are looking forward to seeing what's left.
"It's our stuff, it's all we got - it's all we have," former resident Ricky Eagle Bull said.
Firefighters believe the human caused fire was unintentionally set.
