TravelAssociates is offering customers the chance to win the ‘cruise of a lifetime’ in an exclusive competition worth $28,000 – one of the biggest in the travel agency’s history.

The major prize, which is open for customers to enter until January 31, is in partnership with Orion Expedition Cruises and Virgin Australia, with two minor prizes of a $1000 and a $500 Travel Associates voucher.

In a package befitting its name, the winner of the ‘cruise of a lifetime’ and a friend will embark on a luxurious 10-night Kimberley Expedition cruise on board the five-star Orion in an experience reminiscent of a boutique hotel on the water.

Return Virgin Australia flights, all main meals and entertainment on board and a choice of departures from Broome or Darwin are included in the prize.

Elevating the prize to new heights is the inclusion of a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungles to view the range’s striking sandstone domes from the air.

As an expansive region best discovered from the sea, the Kimberley cruise also explores the secluded beaches, river inlets, spectacular waterfalls and awe-inspiring gorges that are rich in wildlife and ancient Aboriginal sites.

The ‘cruise of a lifetime’ competition accompanies the launch of Travel Associates’ new Inspirations Summer 2012 magazine that catalogues the consultancy’s hottest luxury destinations for the coming season, from South America to South Africa and includes exclusive new packages.
