Nearly 100 LTCH facilities are running the HCS CARE solution

Health Care Software, Inc. (HCS), a market leader and developer of healthcare information systems, has signed contracts with several individual and multi-facility long-term acute care (LTCH) providers for its CARE Data Set solution.

HCS’s CARE solution is a complete end-to-end solution enabling LTCH facilities to collect, report, submit, and comply with the LTCH CARE Data Set mandate from CMS under the Long-Term Care Hospital Quality Reporting Program that began October 1, 2012.

Each provider selected HCS after conducting a thorough due diligence that included multiple vendor evaluations, system demonstrations, and references. Today, nearly 100 LTCH facilities are running the HCS CARE solution. Recent contracts of multi-facility providers include:

•     LHC Group, Inc., Lafayette, LA
•     LifeCare Hospitals, Plano, TX
•     AcuityHealthcare, LP, Charlotte, NC
