We've told you about the massive switch to online shopping for the holidays, especially over the Black Friday weekend.

Now those sales are fueling FedEx's busiest day of all time.

The company says history will be made Monday December 10th with more than 300,000 employees working to get more than 19 million packages delivered.

That's up 10 percent from the busiest day the company had last year.

And FedEx couriers here in South Dakota are feeling that increase as well.

"It's always a tough time for the couriers; it's just our big time of year. South Dakota is doing very well, you know with our rural areas, the online shipping is doing very well," says Sioux Falls based Senior Manager, Tina Volin.

More than 280 million shipments are expected to move through its networks during the holidays. The company has hired an extra 20,000 temporary employees to help out for the rush.
