Drunk driver crashes into Rapid City liquor store

Bottles were literally flying off the shelves at a Rapid City liquor store Friday, after a drunk driver crashed into the building.
The accident happened at Super Dooper liquors on E St. Patrick street. Around 8 p-m Friday night, store managers say an employee was approached behind the store by Leslie Busch, 55 of Rapid City, who appeared intoxicated in his vehicle.

Busch, a regular customer at the store, asked for beer but was refused by employees. Moments later, a loud noise filled the store.
"He was in his vehicle and must've been trying to take off and he got in his vehicle and hit the building. He got out of his vehicle, looked at the damage and left," said Shar, SD Liquor Manager.
Roughly $2,600 worth of alcohol was destroyed.
According to Pennington county records, this is Busch's third DUI offence.

He was arrested at his home Friday night for driving under the influence, driving with a revoked license and failure to report an accident.
