Kevin Casey honored at vigil; funeral arrangements set

A well-known KOTA Territory businessman who was killed in a car crash late Thursday or early Friday was remembered by the community he served Friday night.
Hundreds gathered to remember 51-year-old Kevin Casey, the one-time president of Bear Country U.S.A.

People lit candles, sang songs, and prayed for an hour or more in the cold.

Casey was found dead Friday morning after being ejected from his truck on his buffalo ranch near Vivian in a single-car crash.
The family plans a wake from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Funeral services will follow on Tuesday morning at 10 at the same location.
