Christmas is
a time when no one should go without gifts.
So, with
your help, two Rapid City
radio stations are doing their part to make sure there are presents under every
tree.
Q92.3 and She106.3
have partnered with Girls Inc, who provided a list of 6- to 14-year-olds who
may not get a single gift this year.
The stations
are accepting gifts from the public. They will wrap and deliver the gifts.
Staff at the
stations will even do the shopping if listeners want to donate money.
"Kids
nowadays want more and more and bigger and bigger, and these girls are just
asking for one gift that they can unwrap on Christmas. And our listeners are
just jumping on board and helping out," said Q92.3 on-air personality Laura Tanner.
The program
runs through December 20.
