A paramount studio movie titled Nebraska, is being filmed in parts of South Dakota.
The film is about a father/son road trip from Billings, Montana to Lincoln, Nebraska. The duo winds-up in a small Nebraska town where the father grew up and where he has to settle some scores. But along the way the two make a stop in the Mount Rushmore state.
"So in the screen play, we've indicated they stop here, have a good look at Mt. Rushmore then spend the night at a motel in Rapid City," said film director Alexander Paynes. "So that's why we're here."
The film stars actors Bruce Dern and Will Forte. People can expect to see Nebraska in movie theatres next Fall.
