The Fireside near Rapid City reopens

It's the perfect season for fireside dining, and now residents of Rapid City and the Black Hills can once again do just that.
The Fireside restaurant on Highway 44 just west of Rapid City has re-opened its doors.

Owner Ashley Ginsberg says they had a soft opening last Wednesday after only 20 days of preparations.

Ginsberg recently graduated Pastry School in Chicago and says opening her own restaurant is a great way to showcase what she's learned.
"We heard a lot of good things about this place, what it used to be, and you know we wanted to bring that back to Rapid City. I'm trying to do stuff that you don't usually see on menus in Rapid City," says Ginsberg.
Ginsberg says when all renovations are complete the restaurant will have a seating capacity of 200.
