Man pleads guilty to Rapid City bike path attack


An Alabama man arrested for attacking a woman on the Rapid City bike path changes his plea to guilty.

Anthony Joyner, 28, pled guilty to attempted second degree rape as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

Joyner admitted in court Friday that he engaged in sexual acts with a women he identified as a prostitute. When she tried to leave, he assaulted her.

The crime took place under a bridge near Roosevelt park in July.

He faces up to 25 years in prison when he's sentenced in January.
