Neighborhood memorial for Rapid City fire victims

One neighbor has taken the initiative to remember those killed in this week's tragic house fire in Rapid City.

Larry Wright, a neighbor of the unit that caught on fire, helped create a memorial dedicated to those who were killed.

The three smaller crosses represent the boys and the larger cross represents their grandmother.

The teddy bears were donated from S&T Security of the Black Hills, a local security firm watching over the unit.

Wright put the dedication up Wednesday evening, and he says the response has been positive.

"I started putting it up last night and the security lady helped with the flashlight and we helped screw it to the tree. And we've gotten a really positive response. People are really happy with it. We hope the family is too," said Wright.

A friend of Wright's donated the wood and believes the wood to be over 100 years old.
