Rapid City man faces 90 years for robbery, high speed chase

A man accused of leading police on a high speed chase has pleaded not guilty.
 
Police allege that Luis Clifford, 35, stole a car at gunpoint from the Best Buy parking lot in Rapid City on October 22nd.

A chase followed on interstate 90 with speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

Road spikes were used to end the pursuit.

Clifford faces more than 90 years in prison if found guilty of robbery, aggravated assault, grand theft and aggravated eluding.
 
Prosecutors allege Clifford has prior felonies on his record, which could increase his sentence to life in prison.
