Professional Therapy Associates, Montana’s go-to physical therapy clinic, recently used a third-party market research study to find out what the public wants and needs from the PT industry
Kalispell, MT (PRWEB) November 19, 2012
Professional Therapy Associates (PTA)’s CEO, Blaine Stimac, has been speaking out on the upcoming changes the physical therapy industry may face due to the Affordable Care Act, and will embrace and be prepared if those changes should occur. In efforts to open 10 more clinics in Montana by the year 2020, Stimac turned to the general public to find out what is needed and wanted regarding PT services, information provided on the industry, and what they want to get from a Montana physical therapy clinic.
PTA has been implementing methods to ensure a high quality of care for their patients for many years, and recently outsourced a lengthy market research study to see what the public (potential patients) wants and needs to know regarding the services offered, physical therapists, and even how they prefer to receive this information.
From the Montana general public, survey results revealed that:
“By understanding what people need to be informed about, it will help us to develop future programs and see what can be improved in both our current and future facilities,” commented Stimac. “I want to ensure that everyone knows that we do, more than just recovery—such as injury prevention, health and wellness evaluation, with long-term programs to fit an individual’s needs and goals.”
PTA has already made significant changes to provide the community with valuable information. Each Wednesday, PTA hosts “Fireside Chats,” located in the lobby of The WAVE Fitness Center. These chats cover different health and fitness issues, and are free to the public. Additionally, Stimac has been speaking out on a national level to inform people of the upcoming changes they may see with regard to healthcare and physical therapy.
