1/2 lb green beans, trimmed
2 TB butter
1/2 c sliced mushrooms
1/4 c sliced almonds (great toasted)
pinch garlic salt
Boil beans in salted water until just tender, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain, immediately rinse with cold water, drain again and return to pot.
Add butter, as well as mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are softened. Add garlic salt and pepper. Then add almonds, heat through and serve.
