Elementary Principal kisses python

Students at Rapid City's South Canyon Elementary School received a prize on Friday that they won't likely forget: principal Brad Jungwirth kissed a python.

Jungwirth said it was motivation for students to reach their book buying goal of 550 books at the school's book fair.

He said he got a little nervous when the students ended up exceeding the goal by 100 books.
"Well, I started to get a little bit scared when I saw the snake, but John Brockelsby from Reptile Gardens did a great job with helping me calm down and encouraging me.  So, I was able to get through it," Jungwirth said.
The money from the book fair will go to benefit South Canyon Elementary.
