Insurance companies are receiving numerous damage claims after last week's hurricane force winds in Western South Dakota.
State Farm Insurance reports about 60 claims so far. Agent Matt McCormick calls them typical wind damage claims, ranging from missing roofs and shingles, to vehicles damage.
He says individual claim damage is ranging from around $200 to $35,000, which is less expensive than some hail storms in the recent past.
McCormick says, in his experience, individual claims after bad hail storms have cost up to $50,000.
