The trial for a man accused of shooting at three law enforcement officers in January has been pushed back more than a month.
42– year old James Baker's trial has been scheduled for January 14th through the 18th. Defense attorney Timothy Rensch didn't say why he wanted the five day trial moved.
Baker is charged with nine counts including first degree attempted murder and aggravated assault.
He is accused of leading officers on a high speed chase on interstate 90 as well as shooting at a highway patrol trooper and two Rapid City police officers. If convicted Baker could face 224 years in prison.
