Elllsworth's Reaper squadron gains commander

The first remotely piloted aircraft squadron at Ellsworth Air Force Base got its first commander this month, Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Clark.

Clark assumed command of the 432nd Attack Squadron in a ceremony Oct. 4.

The squadron flies the MQ-9 Reaper, a long-range, unmanned attack and reconnaissance aircraft.  While the Reaper flies out of forward operating bases close to battlefields, it is controlled by pilots at ground facilities on Ellsworth.
