At 2 pm Sunday afternoon police were dispatched to the intersection of East Iowa and Hawthorne Streets in Rapid City for a report of a hit and run accident.

Witnesses reported Alexis Cepak, 31, of Rapid City, drove her black pick up onto the sidewalk, then hit a boat, then a house.

Cepak fled the scene and parked her car at Robbinsdale Elementary. Police arrived on scene at the school to find her still in the truck.

When officers approached she fled the scene again. Police say cepak drove west down Indiana Street, left the road driving through several yards and a chain link fence.

She then crossed Willow Avenue and hit a car parked on the side of that road.

Officers found a cold can of pressurized air inside Cepaks vehicle, she was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Alexis Cepak was arrested for Aggravated Eluding, DUI, Resisting Arrest, Ingesting, and failure to report an accident.
