Rapid City girl approached by stranger in car


A 13 - year - old Rapid City girl says she was approached by a man while walking home from school Thursday.

According to Rapid City Police Spokesperson, Tarah Heupel, the girl says the man asked her if she wanted a ride near the intersection of East Tallent Street and Willow Avenue.

She said no and ran home.

She describes the man - in his mid to late thirties, with long black hair in a pony tail and a long black goatee. According to her he was driving a four door white car with rust.
