About 60,000 people in KOTA Territory went without a newspaper Wednesday.
According to publisher Shannon Brinker, the Rapid City Journal was not delivered because a bearing went out on the printing press. She says the small part was an easy fix, allowing them to get a paper to half of their subscribers.
Those who didn't receive a paper will get one along with Thursday's edition. All other papers serving surrounding communities that are printed on the same press were delivered this morning.
Brinker says the paper's on-line version was offered free of charge while the repairs were being done.
