Popular author to speak at 2012 Zonta Expo

A popular author makes her way to Rapid City to speak at a Black Hills Women's Expo.

Dee Dee Raap, author of three popular books will be the keynote speaker at the 29^th Annual Zonta Club of the Black Hills Expo Thursday.

Wednesday Raap was signing copies of her books, "Dear Mom," "Find Your Pink Flamingos," and "Journey Words."

Raap says her books teach of lessons she learned from her mother that others can apply to their lives.

"Women serve, women serve women, women do so much that gets taken for granted, and so tomorrow night I'm going to help them celebrate what they do, both the Zonta women and all the other women that will be there because we give so much."

Raap says she has self published all three of her books and has a large readership for an e-magazine she writes.
