Trial scheduled for New Underwood sex offender

A trial date has been set for a registered sex offender from New Underwood

Dale Davis, 48, is charged with two counts of fourth degree rape and two counts of sexual contact with a 14 year old.

He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison for each count.

He also faces charges in Pennington county, where he will most likely be transferred once he is sentenced, according to State's Attorney Scott Roetzel.

His three day trial will be held on January 16th through 19^th.
