Witnesses testify against crime spree defendants

Posted:

Pennington county prosecutors have laid out their case against four defendants suspected in an all night crime spree.

Three witnesses gave preliminary testimony Thursday against the men accused of a string of crimes, from stealing beer from at least two gas stores to breaking and entering a private residence.

Cassidy Grosz, Audiss Hebrew, Adam Poor Bear, and Matthew Wright are charged with first degree burglary and conspiracy.

A home owner testified that in the early morning hours of March 6th, his TV was stolen from his home.

A detective testified that the suspects could be seen on two surveillance videos.

A fifth man admitted his role as "the look out." He received a 10 year prison term.

A trial date for the remaining defendants is set for October 23rd.
