A Monday afternoon fire in Rapid Valley started in a shed and with wind gusts averaging around 25 miles per hour and spread quickly.
At least six local fire departments responded and were able to keep the resulting grass fire from getting out of hand.
Rapid Valley Fire reports the initial call around 2:45 p.m. was to a wood shed on South Side Drive.
When they arrived, it had spread to an abandoned mobile home as well.
A neighboring house also caught fire.
First reports indicated two people might be trapped inside, but they were both accounted for, and there are no injuries or deaths reported.
The cause remains unknown.
"We'll investigate it once everything's under control," said Capt. Deb Venable with Rapid Valley Fire. "Our main concern right now is getting our structures out and our grass fire that started out, and then we'll start an investigation on that."
Venable didn't know how long that would take, but told us around 4:15 Monday afternoon they'd be out there for a couple more hours at least.
