Members of the KOTA Territory news team threw their hat in the ‘muddy' ring to try and win money for charity.
The Central States Fair hosted its annual pig wrestling competition for charity. The pigs weighed upwards of 200 pounds, were greased and ready to run.
Up first was the KOTA guy's team featuring Chris Davis, Phil Byrne, Brad Sugden, and Justin Fanfarilli. The guys were the only team to successfully wrestle the pig into the barrel!
Then it was the girl's turn- Abby Carter, Kristen Tripodi, Taisha Walker, and PJ Randhawa gave it their best shot, but in the end it was the pig that came out on top.
Three other teams also wrestled for charity.
Friday night is the final night for pig wrestling at the Fair. The winning teams get one thousand dollars donated to a charity of their choice.
