Victims family forgives accused shooter

Posted:

The family of a man shot in the head at a late night gathering in April say they forgive the accused shooter.

Kelsey Reavis, 20, is accused of shooting Christopher Levin, 28, in the head with a 45 caliber pistol.

Levin's parents say their son is facing extreme financial hardships after taking two months off work to recover from his gunshot wound.

Donations from the Christopher Levin donation fund netted about $500, but the family says it hasn't been nearly enough to pay all the medical expenses to date.

If convicted, Reavis faces a maximum of 25 years in prison for attempted murder or 30 years for two aggravated assault counts.
