Antique lovers get a chance to show off their steam powered tractors today.

The Western Dakota Antiques Association held their annual steam engine Threshing Bee.

This year the organization combined their event with the Meade County Fair and the 4H achievement days, which made for quite and event.

Organizers say the Threshing Bee tells a story about South Dakota's history.

"We do look forward to this every year because we feel that we're keeping a very vital part of our history alive so that people understand where we came from," said Deb Kopetsky, Secretary for the Threshing Bee.

All three events run through the weekend.

The Threshing Bee is located a half mile east of the Sturgis airport.
