And now that Rally is over and traffic is becoming lighter, it's time to bring out the orange barrels again.

According to the Department of Transportation crews will begin to make pavement repairs to deteriorating concrete on I–90 between Whitewood and Piedmont. Work will begin Monday, August 13th, and is expected to be completed by October 1st. Repairs will be limited to three mile sections of the interstate and will change as work progresses.

Work will also begin on Highway 473 near Terry Peak on Tuesday, August 14th. Crews will be removing and replacing a shallow layer of asphalt along with a new curb and gutter in some areas. Work on the $1.8 million dollar project is slated for completion on September 15th.
