National Honesty Experiment takes place on Rally goers

Posted:

An experiment is taking place during Rally this year.

The National Honesty Experiment is hoping to create the first ever 'Honesty Index' across 30 different American cities.

It consists of unmanned pop–up stands stocked with Honest Tea beverages, and a box asking $1 for each bottle.

Many categories will be measured during the day long experiment, such as city verses city, men verses women, and even beards verses no beards.

"You know, obviously there is the Sturgis Rally so we wanted a location with a lot of foot traffic and what better way to get a bunch of people Sturgis," said

Brian Laridis, with the National Honesty Experiment says they will release the results of the survey August 20th.

He did say that he was surprised by how honest people are.
