Hitchhiker held on $75,000 bond

Bond will remain at $75,000 for a Louisiana tattoo artist accused of stabbing another man at the Sturgis rally.
 
Friday, a judge cited a prior non -violent felony charge in 2009 when he denied a bail reduction for 41- year- old Robert Fox of New Orleans.

Fox pleaded 'not' guilty to aggravated assault.

He's accused of stabbing Myron Eliason on Monday after 80 year old Eliason had offered him a ride.

Fox's attorneys say he was in the area looking for employment.

If convicted, Fox faces 25 years in prison and up to a $50,000 fine.

He's due back in court on August 20th.
 
Eliason is hospitalized in Rapid City in serious condition.
