Bond reduction denied for Rapid City man

Posted:

Bond reduction was denied Thursday for a man accused in a hit-and-run accident that sent several people to the hospital in Rapid City.

The attorney for Seth Dismounts Thrice, 24, requested that his client's bond be dropped to $25,000.

The state opposed any change in bond citing flight risk and his prior five felonies.

Police say Dismounts Thrice was the driver in the January accident on Haines Avenue that sent three people to the hospital, including two with serious injuries.

He accused of fleeing the scene but was arrested two months later.
