An attempted car burglary in Rapid City landed a teenager in jail with a dog bite. Police responded to a call on East Watertown Street after a caller saw three men rummaging through vehicles.

The suspects ran, but an officer was able to track down one of them with a police dog. When he refused to follow the officer's commands, the dog bit and detained the 15-year-old.

A second 15–year–old boy was also arrested for a minor consuming.
