South Dakota educational programs on par with other states

Posted:

South Dakota educators appear to be doing a good job when it comes to programs that help children with disabilities.

South Dakota is one of only 23 states that meets the requirements of the federal individuals with disabilities act for both school programs and a program that helps infants and toddlers, according to a U.S. education report.

The federal law monitors the effectiveness of special education services in birth to three programs all the way through the high school level.
