Arby's opens restaurant on Rapid City's southside

The fifth Rapid City Arby's restaurant hosted a "soft open" Monday with a limited menu.

The store, located on 5th Street, next to the new Walmart, already has 25 employees.

The building boom on Rapid City's southside was a key factor in selecting the location of the new restaurant. With all the new developments, store manager Chelle Luera believes the store will do well.

"I believe it will do really good," said Luera. " With the new Walmart, just nothing but more improvement out here."

A grand opening celebration is set for next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
