It's been a Christmas lovers paradise for more than twenty years, but in less than three weeks the Mistletoe Ranch will close its doors for good.
According to owner Joan Davis, the Prairie Berry winery has purchased the property and may convert it into a conference or reception center.
Before that can happen, Davis says she's anxious to unload almost half a million dollars in merchandise.
Since Davis took over
in 1999, the store has expanded from 12-hundred feet to more than 8 thousand
Davis says the store has become a year round tradition for tourists and locals alike.
"It's important to
them when they come in, that they say hi, I love greeting them, I love talking to them from all over. It's been quite a ride. One I won't forget," said Davis.
Everything in the store, including quilts and quilting materials, are now up to 50 % off and will be until the store closes down in mid June.
