
Eight-hundred breweries from around the world displaying 4,000 beers, and a KOTA Territory company takes a top prize.
Sheridan's Black Tooth Brewery took home a gold medal over the weekend at the World Beer Cup in San Diego.
The Wagon Box Wheat took home the honor in the American-style wheat category.
It's the first gold medal, and fifth medal overall, Black Tooth has taken home in the year and a half they've been brewing.
Three of those five belong to the Wagon Box.
"It's judged on by other brewers," said brew master Travis Zeilstra. "There's 211 judges that judges all those beers, and it's very rewarding because of being acknowledged by your peers."
Black Tooth Brewery is already gearing up for other competitions later this year.
