An online magazine for those who have suffered the most dreaded loss
(PRWEB) May 05, 2012
Debuting in May 2012, a month that is so full of emotions for mothers who have endured that most dreaded loss…the loss of a child. Still Standing Magazine hopes to be a ray of light in the world left behind, a world that otherwise may have been covered in shadows.
Still Standing Magazine is the vision of artist Franchesca Cox who authors a successful blog, Small Bird Studios, where she shares her inspiring art and words of advice to mothers and families who have lost a child. The online magazine will have the voice of Franchesca as well as 16 other contributing writers from around the world. Offering a unique perspective that will be relatable to anyone who has suffered a loss. It’s no coincidence that the launch date of Still Standing is May 5th 2012…the day Franchesca’s daughter Jenna would have turned three years old.
"Where hope thrives, love lives, and healing is real."
– Franchesca Cox, Still Standing Editor-In-Chief
Still Standing Magazine will not just serve as inspiration for women, but will also include articles written specifically for grieving fathers, siblings, grandparents, and other family members.
Still Standing Magazine will also include articles to help with parenting tips after a loss, coping mechanisms, healing through giving back, and so many other articles that address the needs of a broken mother who needs to be made whole again.
