Rapid City man charged for causing drunken, domino crash

An
intoxicated Rapid City
man struck a trailer, two parked cars and a house Monday morning.
Rapid
City Police Spokesperson Tarah Heupel says 25-year-old Richard Zimmerman is
charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence, hit and run, and a parole
violation.
Zimmerman
and a female passenger were driving west on Saint James Street when the domino crash
occurred. Zimmerman
fled the scene. He was discovered a few hours later sleeping on the porch of a
home on Mount Rushmore Road.
His
passenger was taken a hospital but no one else was injured.
