3/4 c sugar
4 large egg yolks
6 egg whites
3 TB Grand Marnier
3/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp confectioner's sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare 6 8oz ramekins by spraying with cooking spray and coating insides with sugar. Set on a baking sheet.
Beat egg yolks until pale in color. Add Grand Marnier, vanilla and sugar and beat until smooth.
In another bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add cream of tartar and salt then beat until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold a third of the whites into the yolk mixture and combine. Then fold in remaining whites.
Pour into each ramekin. Bake for 10 minutes or until puffed up and brown. Remove from oven, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and serve immediately.
