The possession or sale of synthetic drugs is now just one
step away from becoming illegal in South Dakota.
Yesterday the state house voted 63 to 1 to pas the bill, which would add synthetic drugs like synthetic marijuana and bath salt to the state's list banned substances.
The next and last step the bill needs to become law is Governor Dennis Daugaard's signature.
If passed it would be a felony to possess or sell synthetic drugs.
The bill comes fresh off the news of synthetic drug raids in Rapid City and in Deadwood.
