The grass may still be brown, but with blue skies and warm temperatures, everyone seems to have spring on their mind.
"Well there's not many times you can come out golfing in the middle of February and I got tired of watching TV, so I thought I'd come out and hit a few balls," said Bill Bacon.
There were a handful of people including Bill Bacon perfecting their swing at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
"Ya know I've never golfed in February before. I have in January but never in February."
It isn't common to see people enjoying the outdoors in February, but as soon as the temperatures warm up people head outside.
"Well my Dad and I try to go on a run like once a week together and usually we have to go inside on treadmills, but it's been so nice we decided to run outside today," said Becca Ceremuga.
Jeff Ernst at Two Wheeler Dealer says his business is seasonal, but this winter sales were steady.
"Because of the mild winter people have been biking all winter long and usually we'll see a pretty big lull, but it's actually stayed and been quite a bit of an increase because of the weather," said Ernst.
The weather is stirring up sales in other "warm weather" sports equipment such as four wheelers.
"This year we're kind of going into the spring type items and with motorcycles and stuff with it being nice and people kind of having the spring bug. The nice weather has definitely encouraged people to get out and think forward a little bit," said Todd Gikling.
And while he's thinking forward to spring, Bacon didn't hesitate to take advantage of the great weather today.
"I didn't want to miss a chance to hit some balls early in the season."
