Two KOTA Territory marines are dead following a single car
crash in California.
A memorial marks the spot of the accident in Dana Point that
killed 22– year old Corporal Jason Chleborad of Rapid City and 23 –year old Sergeant
Jeremiah Callahan of Chadron.
Two other people were in the car. One was killed and the
other hospitalized in critical condition.
Jim Amormino with the Orange County Sheriff's Department says
the 2005 Dodge Stratus hit a palm tree. He says speed, alcohol and slick roads
may have led to the crash.
Authorities have not said who was driving. All four of the men were stationed at Camp Pendleton.
