Think you own your Twitter account – well, maybe not.  

Is your Twitter account a personal account or a corporate account for your employer?  It's more complicated than you might think.

Who follows your Twitter account – friends or clients of your employer?  Whose name is on the account – yours or your employer's?  Is "your" Twitter account essentially a customer list?

At this point in the evolution of Twitter, most legal commentators would probably say that no one knows for sure who owns "your" Twitter account.

    There's a lawsuit going on in California where this issue may be addressed.
